Last week we lost one of the all time great comics who also happened to be one of the greatest straight men in the comedy business. Nobody could stammer, give a deadpan line or look like Bob Newhart. They say that acting is reacting and nobody did reacting quite as brilliantly as Bob. Aside from his many great achievements in his long career his biggest accomplishments were his headlining of two legendary sitcoms: “The Bob Newhart Show” and “Newhart”.
