Alas, another all time legend has left us to go back home with the almighty. James Earl Jones has been known for so many different roles over the decades. Sci-Fi fans of the 70s and 80s will always know and love him best for Darth Vader of Star Wars, many people will always know and love him best for King Jaffe Joffer of Coming To America while many, many, 90s babies will always know and love him best for lending his iconic voice to Mufasa of The Lion King. He has been a master of stage and both the small screen and big screen and leaves behind a massive legacy to be appreciated for many more years to come. Today in honor of this legendary figure, I present a tribute to James Earl Jones’ most iconic and beloved roles in cinema.

  1. Darth Vader. Star Wars Episode IV-A New Hope & The Empire Strikes Back. 1977& 1980.

One of cinema’s greatest and most iconic villains ever. Without Jones’ voice there would be no Darth Vader.
