New Millennium Locked & Loaded: Top 20 Best Action Films of the 2000s and 2010s.
As of late Comic Book\Superhero Movies have dominated the action front in cinema. That old fashioned action thriller shoot ’em or blow ’em ups are a rare breed nowadays, but that golden age of action films in the 80s and 90s still had its engine running in the 2000s. Even the more recent 2010s has spout out a few gems, so today let’s countdown the top 20 best classic action films from the New Millennium and beyond had to offer.
20. 21 Bridges. 2019.
One of the last films starring the late great Chadwick Boseman, 21 Bridges had a real interesting concept and some pretty nice gun fights. While I think the film could’ve done a bit more with its premise and could’ve also been a bit more compelling in certain places, I still highly recommend it as a watch because overall the film had a cool mystery to it and because Boseman, though clearly ill at the time of filming, did such a good job in spite of his sickness starting to take over.
