When it comes to screen legends there has always been much love and respect paid to the Marlon Brandos, the Cary Grants, the Morgan Freemans etc. Today I want to highlight my top ten choices of the iconic Gene Hackman’s greatest films. The Hackman has made many films over the decades and it’s not easy narrowing down his ten best, but I’m gonna do my best to try.

10. Get Shorty. 1995.

In the classic 90’s crime\mobster flick ‘Get Shorty’, Gene Hackman stole the show as sleazy, brown nosing agent Harry Zim. Hackman showed his skill at comedy alongside such pros as John Travolta, Rene Russo, Dennis Farina and Danny DeVito.
