As a big brother myself I identify so much with some of tv’s best and most iconic big bros that could be annoyed and dismissive of their little siblings but at the end of the day were protective, loyal and in many ways another parent in the household. These are my top ten choices of tv’s best big brothers.

10. JJ Evans. Good Times.

JJ may have been a wacky goofball but after James Evans Sr. passed away JJ found himself stepping up as the man of the house forcing the once eternal goofball to grow up a little bit. After mother Florida got remarried and left JJ stepped up once again and fully took over as the head of the household holding down a good job, dressing a bit more adult like, and being essentially another parent to his siblings. There’s one thing for sure, JJ Evans as a big brother was DY-NO-MITE!
